background: The past isn't something that Nakita looks back fondly on. She was born in Calais, Maine, to her mother and father, Julia and Timothy Lawson. Life couldn't have appeared all that much better for the first few years of Nakita's life, her mother cared for her, and she was happy, until a car accident took her mother's life when she was five years old. It left her father forlorn, and while Nakita at that age knew what it meant, she still didn't quite understand what it meant in it's entirety. It took a while for her father to get over her mother, and during that period of morning Nakita was mostly cared for by a hired sort of nanny, while her father spent a majority of time out and about, and sort of abandoned Kita for the time being. It took about a year for her father to realize he had abandoned his daughter, and then a year for him to recover and get back involved in his daughter's life. She relied on her friends, for the most of the time during her younger years, and was extremely attached to them, and it stayed the way through her teen years, with her two best friends, Hanabell and Annabell. Everything had a normal aspect too it, at the very least by the time that Nakita had entered high school. Hanging out with her friends and such. Until the accident. Hana had brought Nakita along to a party their sophomore year, and Hana got drunk, but insisted on driving them back home, sense she was the only one with their license. But they had only been on the road for a few minutes when Hana swerved and they hit the tree. Hana was killed, but Nakita was spared, with a bunch of scratches, and a broken arm. It was a bigger shock for Nakita. Anna hated her, after the accident, because Kita had actually let Hana, her twin sister, get in the car drunk. Kita changed after that. She hoped everything would get better, and Anna would forgive her, but it didn't happen, and within two months her father had moved them out here to Tatum, California, all the way across the country, for a new start, for the both of them. And Kita sealed the past off and tried to forget and invent herself anew. It's worked, at least, as far as she can tell. And now the cast's off, and she's still hoping that no one finds out.[/style] [style=text-align: right; font-family: courier new; color: #551033; font-size: 16pt; line-height: 12pt;]person. Hi! I'm ASH, I'm a FEMALE and I've been in the roleplaying world for about THREE YEARS. I found this wonderful site THROUGH AFFILIATES and I also have to say that I play NO OTHER CHARACTERS AT THE MOMENT.[/style] [style=text-align: right; font-family: courier new; color: #551033; font-size: 16pt; line-height: 12pt;]sample. It had taken Nakita a long time to actually be able to get out and explore the town, the town that, despite having lived here for several months, she still didn't know all that well. She was sure that if her father had sent her out to get groceries she would have found herself at a bowling alley. She would have thought that it would have been at least a little easier to get to know they town. They all had to have relatively the same types of things, right? It could of been much more difficult than it was. Not that that was a challenge. Kita didn't want to tempt the world. She'd had enough of it's antics before they had even made their cross country move. Right now, her main issue was finding the beach. Yes, she wanted to find the beach. They had had beaches in Maine, sure, it just hadn't been very sunny around there all the time, like it typically was in California, it was a rather welcome change for the teen, too. It gave her plenty of time to work on her tan. For the months following the move Nakita had been stuck inside, sorting through all of their boxes, and setting everything up, which had proved to be rather difficult with a broken arm, and a few bandages left. Plus, just a few weeks ago, once her cast was finally off, she had taking her driver's test, and finally managed to get her license. Although, she had been a bit nervous about getting her license. Especially after the accident. Which would explain the fact that she had chosen to walk to the beach, instead of hopping in the car and just being on her way. No, that was too simple for Nakita Caoimhe Lawson. She had to do it the hard way. It was good exercise, anyway, so why not? From her phone, it was supposed to be coming up soon, and she could here the waves, so that was a welcome relief. At least she had managed to find her way to some place. Even if she wasn't being all that productive at the moment, it still counted as something. She'd know where everything was within a month or so, she was absolutely sure. Nakita lifted her eyes from the map on her phone to finally spot the span of the beach, grinning broadly at her success. Finally, something was actually going right. The teen walked across the beach and laid her towel out, carefully taking off her t-shirt and shorts to reveal her bikini (though it was more of a two piece bathing suit, since it covered more than a bikini). Kita laid down on her towel, placing her book in front of her and stretching out to read. It was relaxing out here, and for once in her so far rather short life, she got to relax, and let her hair down. It was a miracle in it's own manner, and greatly appreciated by far.[/style] [/style][/style] |
